Palliative care expert on how to cope with stress and death

Simon Beaumont

Cancer Council WA has brought a world-renowned palliative care expert to Perth this week, to share her understanding of the ways to prevent and relieve suffering for people at the end of life.

Professor of Medicine at The George Washington University in Washington DC and founder of the George Washington Institute for Spirituality and Health, Dr Christina Puchalski, joined Mornings with Gareth Parker after an anonymous donation enabled her visit to WA.

Dr Puchalski’s free public lecture, ‘Finding Meaning, Living With Purpose’ is being held at the WA State Library today, at 12:30pm.
