Perth mother separated from 2yo daughter despite home quarantine approval

A Perth woman has been forced to quarantine in a hotel away from her two-year-old daughter after travelling to New South Wales for medical treatment.

Sara has previously had no issues travelling between the states and self-isolating at home.

Sara believes individual officers at the airport shouldn’t be allowed to make snap decisions to separate families.

Sara has appealed the decision Acting Police Commissioner Gary Dreibergs says the matter will be reviewed.
