Linear Clinical Research in Perth are beginning trials on nasal drops that may provide immediate immunity to COVID-19 for up to four hours.

Linear CEO Jayden Rogers says he hopes the nasal drops will become a bridge while the world waits for an effective vaccine.

Jayden said the antibodies are produced in chicken egg yolks and formulated into nasal drops that can be self-administered at home or on the go, potentially providing immediate immunity for approximately four hours.

The trial is expected to be completed in December 2020 if proven effective, the product could be available early next year.
