Perth petrol at a new all time high
The average price of unleaded petrol increased to 163.9 cents per litre on Tuesday, an all-time high for the daily ULP in Perth for the second week in a row.
Ben Derecki is the acting Fuelwatch manager and told 6PR Breakfast: “The primary reason [for the price hike] is the international benchmark for fuel prices has increased on the back of rising oil prices…. then on top of that, we’ve got this fuel cycle.”
But the listeners weren’t convinced and called in with their opinion.
