A petition has gathered over 2000 signatures against the removal of the intersection at Tonkin Highway and Hale Road in Forrestfield.

Initial plans from Main Roads replace the intersection with a flyover which wouldn’t allow vehicles to enter or exit the highway from Hale Road.

Forrestfield resident Andrea Pike is campaigning against the removal and says taking out the traffic lights will affect thousands of people’s travel time.
