The AFL boss has urged all players to respect various virus-related restrictions to ensure the league can return this season.

Dockers trio Luke Ryan, Jason Carter and Michael Frederick avoided police charges over a weekend party, however Ryan and Carter have both been fined three thousand dollars by the club.

But Gillon McLachlan says if AFL is cleared to resume it’s vital that protocols are adhered to.
