Police auxiliary officer attacked in lock up
A WA police auxiliary officer has been viciously attacked at a lock up facility.
The 46-year-old was dealing with a person in custody in a holding cell over the weekend – she was attacked after retrieving clothing for the shirtless man.
The officer was grabbed by the throat and bitten on the scalp as well as her ear.
Police Union President Harry Arnott says it’s left the officer understandably unsettled.
