Around 40% of pregnancy tests available in Australia have been given a fail or withdrawn from the market.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration tested all 38 products available. Nine were withdrawn by manufacturers voluntarily before a further 5 were found to have issues. Two products were cancelled for improper inclusion on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
