The Federal Police will investigate 75 accounts of people’s Medicare numbers being sold on the dark web, but there’s a lot more private information being sold to the highest bidder. While hackers are always trying to access this information, IT consultant Zaun Bhana says it could be as simple as a government department doing the stealing.
