Public housing tenants owe millions
Public housing tenants, both previous and current, owe over $55 million in debts including unpaid bills and repairs.
Stephen Hall from Shelter WA told 6PR Breakfast it’s not just a matter of kicking people out of the premises: “The costs of people living on the street or in their cars or whatever there are significant costs on the public purse as well,” Mr Hall told Steve and Baz.
