West Coast Eagles forward Josh Kennedy is only two goals away from breaking Peter Sumich’s club record for most goals kicked.

The legendary Sumich kicked 514 goals for the Eagles in his 150 game career and Kennedy’s handful of goals on Saturday night against Gold Coast brought him up to 513 Eagles goals.

“He’s been a massive influence on my career,” Kennedy said about Sumich who was the Eagles forwards coach when JK first came to the club
