Residents too scared to drink the water

Bullsbrook residents were briefed today on the impact of hazardous fire fighting foam (PFAS) previously used at The RAAF base in Pearce.

154 homes have been provided with bottled water for several years but a Defence investigation has revealed all but 26 properties can go back to drinking regular water.

For those homes still affected, Defence is looking at providing a filtration system as a temporary solution. Until then they will continue to be supplied with bottle water.

Oly Peterson spoke to Bullsbrook resident Anne Sibel about how locals are disappointed by the outcome of today’s meeting. She says they want to see scheme water provided to the area, something that member for Pearce Christian porter says he’ll fight for.
