The State Government has announced a review into the way building companies pay their subcontractors, in the wake of the financial troubles impacting some major players in the industry.

BCL Group stopped trade on Monday, just weeks after veteran WA builder Cooper & Oxley went into administration.

Commerce and Industry minister Bill Johnston told Mornings with Gareth Parker,  they’re also setting up an Industry Advisory Group.
