The report into the Ruby Princess controversy has found an expert panel made serious errors when it allowed the ship to dock in Sydney with many coronavirus-positive passengers and crew on board.

Commissioner Brett Walker has found the risk assessment process was not appropriate and the definition of a ‘suspect case’ had not been updated.
