Saffron the secret to moody teens
Saffron can help symptoms of anxiety and depression in tense teenagers according to new research at Murdoch University.
“It’s a powerful antioxidant, it has some anti-inflammatory effects; it also seems to kind of increase levels of neurotransmitters, or brain chemicals that are associated with moods,” Dr Adrian Lopresti told 6PR Breakfast.
