The State Government has announced it will now go-ahead with a trial of smart drumlines in a bid to address shark attack numbers.

Fisheries Minister Dave Kelly has so-far resisted the drumlines, saying he would wait until a trial was carried out in New South Wales before going ahead.

Mr Kelly told Mornings with Gareth Parker, they now won’t wait for the NSW trail.
