Shopping less, buying more
Australians are now shopping less; we now rack up an average of 37 shopping trips a month, down from 41 four years according to new research.
A retail expert says time constraints and a change in shopping habits has contributed in the drop.
“We’re physically not going to the stores as much as we used to,” Gary Mortimer, Associate Professor at Queensland University of Technology, told 6PR Breakfast.
