Should Car Dealers Have Credit Licences?
Car dealers could be asked to operate with credit licences. The Australian Automotive Dealer Association says the legislation proposed today should not be rushed through as it will increase costs for consumers and cause a headache for smaller businesses.
Today Oliver Peterson spoke to AADA CEO David Blackhall about what problems this legislation could create.
“The large operators generally have credit licences of their own.
“So we’re talking about the little family owned, smaller scale business, it’ll be a challenge for these guys to get licenced.”
