South west magic mushroom foragers told to think again
Anyone heading to the South West with the intention of foraging for “magic mushrooms” are being warned to think again.
Significant rain usually marks the start of the psilocybin mushroom season in the forests around Nannup.
Local Police Sergeant Al McNevin told Gareth Parker on Mornings a large amount of their resources are wasted having to deal with people under the influence of the fungi.
