Sweeping changes for WA liquor licensing rules

There are some big changes on the way for WA’s liquor licensing laws, in a bid to cut red tape and enhance tourism.

Premier Mark McGowan has said this morning that the changes will help lure ‘hipster’ tourists from places like Melbourne.

Tourism Minister Paul Papalia told Mornings with Gareth Parker, changes will include making it easier for small venues to serve alcohol without food, and for diners to take their unfinished bottle of wine home with them.
