Testing AFL players could result in big fines
Infectious disease expert, Dr Clay Golledge, says WA testers and laboratories could be facing thousands of dollars worth of fines for testing West Coast and Fremantle players.
“At the moment we have a very firm direction from public health that if we test asymptomatic people, as individuals we could be fined $20,000 and face imprisonment under the public health act and if a laboratory processes they could be fined up to $100,000,” Dr College told 6PR Breakfast.
