Commuters on the Fremantle-Midland line on Monday got a surprise when an Irish band on their way to a gig broke into an impromptu session.

The band, The Broken Pokers, are a three-piece Irish set who have become a staple of the Perth music scene. They are Derrick Buckley, Tobias Anning, and Ben Christiansen, and they were good enough to come in to play for us on Perth Tonight.
