Trio charged over debt-related kidnapping & torture
The Police Commissioner says police have strong evidence against three men accused of kidnapping a 19-year-old man at an Inglewood property.
The victim was bound and choked by three men – to whom he owed a drug debt late last month.
Its alleged threatening messages were sent to his family members, demanding they hand over tens of thousand of dollars more than what was owed.
He was released the next day in Glendalough.
Commissioner Chris Dawson told Gareth Parker on Mornings parents should contact police immediately if they’re threatened to pay a drug debt.
