WA not getting on the bus to open borders by Christmas
The State Government has voted to reopen borders on a separate timeline to the rest of the country.
Every state and territory except WA has agreed to work towards allowing interstate travel by December.
Part of the plan includes new rules for what constitutes a COVID-19 hotspot.
Premier Mark McGowan says he won’t be entering any agreements based on hotspots.
The Premier told Oliver Peterson WA won’t be reopening its borders until there is no community spread in the eastern states for 28 days.
