A local running coach is confident WA will produce an Olympic level marathon runner in the near future.
Running expert and owner of the Running Centre Raf Baugh is talking up the talents of 22 year old Nic Harman who recently set a new WA record for a half marathon at just over one hour and three minutes.
Mr Baugh says we haven’t had an Olympic marathoner from WA since Ian Sinfield in 1960.
