Wesfarmers boss floats ‘measured approach’ to easing restrictions

The head of Wesfarmers believes a cautious – measured approach should be taken – when it comes to easing virus-related restrictions.

Rob Scott told Gareth Parker on Mornings while it’s been a difficult few months – businesses under Wesfarmers haven’t suffered any major changes – with companies such as Bunnings and OfficeWorks picking up as people stay at home more.

He’s praised both the State and Federal Government’s approach to getting on top of the virus – and says while hibernation is viable in the short term – long term isolation will start to have serious implications for jobs and business.
