Western Force given a lifeline
WA mining magnate Andrew Forrest has injected more than two-million dollars into Rugby WA, as the organisation is pulled out of voluntary administration. Creditors today voted to forgive Rugby WA of their liabilities, handing them back their intellectual property and naming rights to the Western Force. Oliver Peterson spoke to incoming Rugby WA chairman John Edwards who says the funds from Mr Forrest will help maintain junior rugby programs into next year.
