Traffic issues are continuing north-bound on the Kwinana Freeway – on the back of overnight road-works.

Scheduled works on the new Smart Freeway at Canning Highway didn’t finish on time – due to concrete not setting.

Main Roads has apologised.

Director of Metro Operations Peter Sewell has told Gareth Parker on Mornings – unfortunately – the concrete has taken longer than expected to set – with problems persisting now.
