The White Ibis is moving into more urban areas according to new data.

Birdlife’s Australia’s Aussie Backyard Bird Count saw a large increase in Ibis spotting’s around urban places in the country seeing it move from 14th spot to 10th.

Birdlife Australia’s Sean Dooley told Gareth Parker it appears the birds migrate to more urban areas due to drought as seen in Sydney a few years ago.
