Why aren’t councils turning the lights on?

The Mayor of Joondalup has asked for patience from residents who are keen to get back to public sporting grounds to commence team training.

Up to 20 people are now allowed to train together..but the City of Joondalup is being criticised for refusing to take bookings for public spaces until June 1.

Teams have requested the City turn the lights on at ovals so people can train after dark, but Albert Jacob says there are a lot of variables that need to be considered.
