Yardley Dies Aged 71
Australian Test cricketer Bruce Yardley has died after a long battle with cancer.
The West Australian, a veteran of 33 Test matches between 1978 and 83, died in hospital earlier today at the age of 71.
Yardley was part of a Test team that at times included seven West Australians.
State and national teammate Graeme Wood joined Simon Beaumont to pay tribute to his mate.
