Kwinana Freeway has been closed northbound from the Leach Highway exit due to a police incident.

It’s believed there were reports of a man walking along the freeway around 5:30am Thursday morning.

Police confirmed to Channel 7’s Joey Catanzaro that a man was hit by a car and had died at the scene.

Bernie D from Main Roads updated Steve and Baz on the situation.
