Mark McGowan has been honoured as a Companion to the Order of Australia, prompting a look back onto his reign as Premier of Western Australian.

Curtin University professor, John Phillimore, says his time in the role will be looked back on favourably.

“We’ll look back with the benefit of hindsight, there were things we could have done better, I’m sure he will too,” he told Gary Adshead.
