The recent wet weather has been partially blamed for a slew of electricity outages across the city, with some areas likely to remain without power until 8pm tonight.

It comes as almost 24 thousand customers remain without power in more than 100 regional suburbs.

Listeners have called in to 6PR Breakfast to tell Karl and Millsy they’ve had to travel to other areas to charge phones and other devices.
