“They are absolutely heartbroken, consoling one another and wiping away tears,” he said.
Her brother told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings yesterday his sister was the family’s “rock” and was just getting her life back on track.
A 17-year-old from Kensington has been charged with grievous bodily harm and breach of bail. He was due to face Perth Children’s Court yesterday.
The homicide squad has now taken over the investigation.
In a statement to 6PR, Waterford Plaza shopping centre management said owners, managements and tenants expressed their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms Miller.
“Her tragic death has shocked everyone who works and operates at the centre as well as the broader Karawara community.
“Waterford Plaza is working closely with the WA Police as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.”
