Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced a reshuffle to his ministry.

Federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor will add industry to his portfolio after the resignation of Christian Porter a few weeks ago.

Defence Industry Minister Melissa Price has been promoted to Science and Technology roles, while Ben Morton also joins the front bench.

Tim Wilson has also been promoted as the assistant minister to the industry, energy and emissions reduction portfolios.
