Qatar flights ban frames critical cost issues
The Federal Government is copping a growing amount of criticism over its decision to continue banning Qatar Airways flights to Australia, especially as airfares skyrocket.

“The issue here is it’s quite bizarre of [Transport Minister Catherine King] because there are many Airlines that have not returned to Australia and there is no sign of them returning to Australia, particularly into Perth,” Mr Thomas said.
“We don’t have China Southern, we don’t have Thai International – one of the airlines who brought pressure to keep airfares down.”
