The South-West Forests Defence Foundation is arguing current prescribed burning practices does not give effective protection from wildfires but a WA Bushfire management group says the foundation’s stance was not based on sound science.

Bushfire Front spokesman John Clark spoke to 6PR Radio’s Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the group is concerned about those who advocate for no prescribed burnings as it’s “downright dangerous”.
