A new population of quokkas has been discovered in the Perth Hills.

Calum Haynes, Bibbul Ngarma Aboriginal Association Board Member, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Mick how these quokkas aren’t as social as the Rottnest quokkas.

“They live differently, obviously, to those on the island, so we want to learn heaps more about them,” he said.
