Gift giving can be difficult at the best of times and as we dive towards the festive season there are many Australians searching for the perfect gift, but more recently those gifts are finding a different home. 

A New report has emerged showing one in five Australians will comfortably re-gift presents this Christmas while the average Aussie will spend $715 this christmas.

“We are at a very unique period household budgets are really stretched so maybe we’ve become a thrifty nation”, Mr Ford said.
