Approximately one out of four individuals regret at least one of their tattoos, and nearly half of them choose to remove or conceal the unwanted tattoo with a new one.

Several factors contribute to the tattoo removal process, including matching the age of the tattoo with the appropriate laser type for effective removal.

Co-owner of SW Laser Hayden Demari told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons, “To remove a tattoo takes a good amount of time and patience.”

“The average time across the world is eight to ten sessions, so it definitely should remove the tattoo significantly, where it wont be very visible.”
