Many adults would remember getting their pen licence in primary school and now researchers from Edith Cowan University are calling for a cyber security licence system to be introduced for Aussie primary school kids and their teachers.

Professor Nicola Johnson from the ECU Security Research Institute spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“We think that learning about scams and phishing in year seven and eight is way too late, kids need to know that they can think for themselves and they can ascertain things that are dodgy… ”
