Some of Western Australia’s best cricketers from the 1970s will reunite at the West Australian Cricket Association grounds on the first day of the first shield match.

“Things just came together, we had a lot of very good cricketers with strong personalities and a real passion for Western Australia,” Mr Inverarity said.

“Personalities such as Dennis Lillee and Kim Hughes, very exuberant personalities, and we became a fairly formidable team.”
