Rockingham will be shifting to a fortnightly collection of red-lid bins in June.

Kelly Middlecoat, a councillor for the City of Rockingham, voted no to the change and explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that many residents have raised concerns about the fortnightly collection.

‘They don’t want that waste sitting in their bins for two weeks, especially over the summer period when it’s really hot; it may become quite unpleasant,’ she said.
