Perth’s favourite furry friends are due to get their own hospital as Rottnest Island gets a revamp.

Amongst a barrage of new projects, is a hospital for Australia’s happiest animals, the quokka.

Deputy chair of the Rottnest Island Foundation told Michael Thomson on 6PR Mornings there are plans for a conservation centre highlighting the island’s natural environment.
