Royal Flying Doctor Service announces two new choppers for WA
Two new helicopters, funded by Fortescue Metals Group, have been added to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Western Australia.
They will be able to transfer patients within 250 kilometres from their base in Jandakot.

RFDS Western Operations CEO Rebecca Tomkinson told Millsy it’s a “very exciting day”.
“We’re really proud to announce our partnership with Fortescue today,” she said.
“Launching our heli-med service, we’re the very first to do that for the RFDS throughout all of Australia, and it’s a fantastic new advancement for patient care in WA”.
