The WA branch of the Returned Services League has backed a push to better protect Anzac Day from “creeping commercialisation”.

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has raised the issue, while announcing a ban to retail trade on Anzac Day in NSW, similar to the arrangement in WA.

RSL WA President Duncan Anderson has told Oly Peterson on Perth Live, they’re working with the WA Government to tighten up the Anzac Day Act.
