RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Entrée absent from RBA meeting
The latest Reserve Bank Board Dinner was held at Frasier’s this week, and those invited were left disgruntled – and not just because of the rate rises.
Pastoralists and Graziers Association President Tony Seabrook rang in to 6PR Breakfast to inform Millsy and Karl the RBA dinner reflected the current economic times, with the noted absence of an entrée.
“When the entrée came out, I was like, ‘Well this is a very nice entrée.’ Then the custard pie came out, and that’s the end of it,” Mr Seabrook said.
On a serious note, Mr Seabrook took the moment to share his concerns with the RBA, especially in terms of how farmers are suffering.
