A good Samaritan stopped his car to help an unconscious man who is lying on the side of the freeway, whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive, another car stop to see if help was needed.

‘Pit Stop Premier’ told the John Hughes Rumour File, it was in fact Premier Mark McGowan and his family. The man decided to email the Premiers’ office to thank him for the assistance and received a thank you card in the mail.

The rumour was confirmed when George told 6PR Breakfast it was surreal to see Premier McGowan in that moment.

“I sent an email not expecting a reply – it certainly was wonderful to have the Premier of WA take the time to stop and see if we were okay,” George said.
