Popular Hillarys nightclub Bar1 has confirmed they are banning red shoes after Two Left Feet told the John Hughes Rumour File about the rumour this morning.

Owner of Bar1 Malcolm Pages told 6PR Breakfast the ban was made as red shoes are a typical favourite of the Eshay community.

Mr Pages hopes the decision will reduce the amount of trouble at the club which is often attributed to Eshay youth.
